The Psalms are mainly prayers and songs of praise.
They were the Jewish song-book.
- Psalm 8 – God’s greatness and our insignificance
- Psalm 22 – Plea for deliverance from enemies
- Psalm 23 – Trust in God, the Shepherd King
- Psalm 110 – Coronation of the king
- Psalm 139 – God’s greatness
