So, if you told me that in the Boxing Day test England has had its first win since 2011, I wouldn’t believe you. That’s 14 years (or 5,468 days) without a win! If you showed me a report, I would think it was fake news. And if you showed me a photo or video, I would think it was generated by AI. How can I check if the report and photo or video was true or not? I could ask someone who was an eyewitness yesterday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. That’s the kind of evidence I need. (more…)
Another test series
The recent test cricket series between England and India finished in a 2—2 draw. And the next England versus Australia test series begins on 21 November 2025. A test cricket series involves up to five cricket matches, with each match lasting up to five days. Did you know that Israel went through many more tests on their exodus from Egypt in about 1450 BC? We all need forgiveness
No matter how interested you are in cricket, it’s Australia’s national game. One year later, on March 29, 2019, the most severe bans ever handed down by Cricket Australia for on field behavior will come to an end. After a year’s forced absence, former captain, Steve Smith, and former vice captain, David Warner will once more be eligible to play for Australia, New South Wales and their Big Bash teams.
