A common view is that there is a perceived conflict between Christianity and science. But this is erroneous because Christians discovered and invented science.

Scientists seek to gain knowledge of the laws which govern how the natural world works. They describe these laws rather than explain them. For example, we don’t know what gravity is or why there is attraction between positively and negatively charged particles although we can describe these behaviors.
